Data is gathered manually, cleaned, and processed using Python scripts which automate the process of adding new data to each page. The website is built with static HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Prices are manually verified and updated regularly.
CloudedStar - a tech enthusiast and university student based in the UK. There is no purchase tracking; I don't know how to do that, and I don't want to.
HardwarePrices UK is effectively the public version of a site I made for friends and family to quickly see what components to buy instead of asking me. Usually, they are casual users looking solely for "bang for buck" which is why the site prioritises this, and is intentionally one-dimensional.
