Privacy Policy

What data we collect, how we handle it, and your rights.

Last Updated: March 2026

TL;DR

We don't collect any data about you. No cookies, no analytics, no accounts. When you click a link to Amazon, Amazon does their own thing under their own privacy policy. We don't know who you are or what you buy. That's it.

What We Collect

Nothing. HardwarePrices UK does not collect, store, or process any personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or first-party cookies. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not log your IP address or browsing behaviour.

Third-Party Services

Amazon Associates

HardwarePrices UK is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.co.uk.

When you click an affiliate link on this site, you are directed to Amazon.co.uk. At that point, Amazon may set cookies on your device in accordance with their own privacy policy. These cookies are set by Amazon, not by HardwarePrices UK, and are used to attribute qualifying purchases to this site.

We have no access to the data Amazon collects through these cookies. We do not know who you are, what you purchase, or whether you complete a transaction. The only information Amazon provides to us is aggregated commission reporting — we cannot identify individual users from this data.

You can read Amazon's privacy policy here: Amazon.co.uk Privacy Notice

Hosting

This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may process limited technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering web pages to your browser. This processing is carried out by Vercel as a data processor and is subject to their privacy policy: Vercel Privacy Policy

Cookies

HardwarePrices UK does not set any cookies. The only cookie-like storage used is a localStorage entry to remember your light/dark theme preference. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to any server.

When you click through to Amazon via an affiliate link, Amazon may set cookies on their domain. This is governed by Amazon's cookie policy, not ours.

Your Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes — for example, if we introduce analytics in the future — we will update this page and revise the date above.
